  4. This program displays the National Debt in real time.
  5. (It's pretty scary to watch)

  7. The calculation is based on a National Debt of
  8. 4,157,381,000,000 as reported by a Colorado Newspaper as of
  9. April 30, 1993 and Perot's statement of an increase of 1 billion
  10. dollars per working day.
  11.  
  12. This program was inspired by the X-Windows program Xdebt which also
  13. shows population increase in real time as well as debt-per-capita.

  15. I havn't gotten around to adding these to the program, even though
  16. it is a trivial enhancement.  If there is interest I will do so.
